Meet Joe Szymczak-Parker

Portland-based artist Yūgen Experience is best known for Atmospheric Background Music for Film, TV, Social Media Platforms, & Video Games.  Finding his musical passion during the secretive warehouse rave scene of the late 90s, his work has melded a love for electronic dance music and psychedelic ambient textures inspired by such artists as Emancipator, Solar Fields, AES Dana, Carbon Based Lifeforms, & Christian Löffler.  His work is sourced from the Japanese concept of Yūgen: "An awareness of the Universe that triggers emotional responses too deep and powerful for words."  Though working for years behind the scenes, 2025 is his year to burst on the scene with his first EP – Hauntingly Beautiful.
